L’Entente: A business lunch in a British Brasserie
May 31, 2019 3:44 pmIf you wish to take a nostalgic of the Perfide Albion to lunch and surprise him: l’Entente, British Brasserie .
Located in the charming Opera district, next to Place Gaillon, you will find this charming French restaurant specialised in the flavours from across the Channel. Initially a little “fearful” of a menu of English tastes, we were charmed. It’s a typical, but sought English cuisine, with subtle combinations, and finely presented dishes worthy of an English Lord. You will feel like a Sir. A small preference for the Lamb mince Parmentier, a glance at Monsieur Pomme de Terre, and in the same tones we give in to their crispy, tender fries. Not without finishing with a small treat: the Lemon Posset & Shortbread, generous in butter but simple, which completes, last but not least, a small coffee and its sugar cubes! The ‘must’ being savouring your meal not far away from Hemingway’s quotes (on the wall to the right as you come in).
Ideal for a business meal the English way: refined cuisine and decoration, discrete personnel and a calm environment.
In the evening, you can also allow yourself to be seduced by their cocktails…
